The definite benefit of travelling off peak to a popular tourist destination such as Nice is that we can get a seat in a trendy beach bar without a reservation…
The obvious downside is that the places use the off peak season to do improvement works… therefore this is the view we got.

This experience aside, we love to travel off season, for the joy of wandering around at our own chilled out pace, having the time to enjoy the scenery, taking it all in, without the crowds. It helps that travelling off season means cheaper rates too! 🙂
